Science Week! ITC

This week of Science Based ITC in CE2-CM2 focused on germs and their transmission, states of matters, weather systems and chemical reactions. Everyday of the week the children received a lesson with a corresponding experiment and yoga lesson to solidify their understanding of the given concept. The experiments included; the importance of hand washing, pressure changes using cornstarch, water systems, carbon dioxide gas, and ice cream.

Meanwhile in CP-CE1 the kids focused on gravity, chemical reactions, oobleck slime.

One of the experiments followed how Galileo proved to Aristotle that objects of different weight fall at the same rate. Other experiments include working with oobleck slime, making snow men out of baking soda, and making a volcano eruption with oil and water. Science can be so much fun!!
