ILA relies on support from our community. Like most nonprofit schools, tuition alone is not enough to meet the expenses of all our programs. Philanthropic donations help us fund these programs and allow us to provide among the most competitive tuition rates in the region.

I am thrilled to have my daughter at ILA. She excels there. There is not a day that goes by when she is in school that she does not tell me something new and exciting that she has learned or done in class. ILA encourages her growth and development as not only a student but a global citizen. They show her ways of seeing things from a multitude of perspectives. The curriculum has a solid base in the educational basics but goes further, adding philosophy, whole body health and third language classes. I highly recommend ILA for any family looking to provide the absolute best for their children.

WE ARE THRILLED
'We're thrilled' We are thrilled to have the ILA in our neighborhood. As disappointed as we were of the closure of the Portland French school, we are equally excited to be a part of the new French Immersion program that ILA has to offer. Last summer, our children enjoyed the pastry making camp in French while making new friends. Although currently attending a different school, both our daughters are taking advantage of ILA's afterschool program. And even their father is now enrolled in the adult evening class! It's a family affair....c'est une affaire de famille! Merci ILA!

I have honestly not seen two teachers/school directors who know and love their students to this extent!
They both simply adore each student and give them that special attention that I want my children to get from the teachers with them, when I'm not. I was in awe to see Massene actually playing basketball with his students. Who does this? The students know that they matter!
And to hear Patricia proudly go on about her beautiful students - the students of ILA literally are loved!
